Shubman became the youngest player to score a double century in ODI

Shubman Gill played an innings of 208 runs against New Zealand and left Sachin Tendulkar behind.

He played an inning of 208 runs in 149 balls. His innings included 19 fours and nine sixes.

He did this feat at the age of 23. Earlier this record was in the name of Ishaan Kishan.

Apart from this, Gill has also become the youngest Indian batsman to score 1000 runs in ODIs. 

Shubman Gill broke another record of Sachin Tendulkar with his innings of 208 runs.

Gill’s scoring accelerated throughout the innings, with his first 50 coming off 52 balls.
